solobuildit review

We've added to our SoloBuildIt review!

The longer we've remained with SoloBuildIt!, the more there is to talk about. That's partly because of the questions that we get from our site visitors.

And, it is partly from our continued use of resources offered through SoloBuildIt!, as well as the continued interactions with their staff, other website builders, and those in the SoloBuildIt! forums.

The SoloBuildIt! Forum

One of the resources that we turn to almost daily has been the forum provided by SoloBuildIt!

In it, there exist categories for almost every major topic of website building that you could imagine.

Among those, you'll find:

  • Welcome
  • News and Announcements
  • Introductions
  • Using Brainstormer
  • Master Keyword List
  • Refining Your Niche
  • Planning Monetization
  • Choosing Your Domain Name
  • Contextual Advertising
  • Membership Sites
  • Make Your Content PREsell!
  • Site Reviews
  • Site Designer
  • WordPress Themes and Plugins
  • Search Engine Info
  • User-Generated Content
  • Newsletters and Email Marketing
  • Social Media
  • Affiliate Programs
  • and, so much more!

Questions, Advice, and Answers

questions

Most of the questions that I've posted in the forums have been related to Site Design, and to User-Generated Content.

You see, you don't need to know HTML coding, but no matter the ease of the software (it is pretty easy to use), there are certain things that you might envision for your site, that you're not quite sure how to make reality.

That's where you can be confident that someone in the forums has experienced the exact same thing. And, they're more than happy to lend a hand, suggestion, and sometimes even that HTML code (that is usually easy to cut and paste) that makes all the difference.

As an example:

We'd gone through several iterations of our header image for the site.

Some were very clunky and gave people flashbacks to websites of the 1990s, while others were off-brand, and some just wouldn't fit in the allotted space appropriately.

One of the best things I can say in my SoloBuildIt review is that people in the community are like super heroes. Our SoloBuildIt! friend, Debs, actually jumped right in when we were having trouble with getting our header to fit just right, edited the file for us, and sent it right over, without our even asking her to. (Thank you so much, Debs!).

SoloBuildIt Review: Social Media Stuff

Another area where we've found the help of the SoloBuildIt! forums to be invaluable is in navigating social media.

While we've been familiar with using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for many years, understanding Pinterest was a different story.

And, we're still learning. Though the detail that we've been provided by those much more experienced has helped our learning curve tremendously.

If You're a Solopreneur

While SoloBuildIt! can work well for large companies, it's specialty lies in helping individuals with great passion to share that passion with the world simply and easily, generating solid, organic traffic to your site (when you stick to the given process!).

If that description of SoloPreneur fits you pretty well, we'd encourage you to give SoloBuildIt! a shot today.

It is no get rich quick scam, but a fantastic software and community, in which you are going to have to provide both patience and commitment to process and content creation (you have to post, but your posts aren't going to get lost like they do in most blogs).
